Evaluator

The Evaluator module of the IATA MRO SmartHub enables users to assess the value of individual parts or complete material lists with precision and efficiency. By leveraging comprehensive market data and proprietary valuation methods, the Evaluator module supports data-driven decisions for pricing, inventory management, and procurement planning.

Throughout this documentation, the module’s features are described with a focus on empowering users to evaluate materials, benchmark company performance, and utilize insights for improved operational outcomes.

What changed in 2026. The Evaluator was redesigned in May 2026. The single-part evaluation now shows a four-column price matrix with FMV, MPV, MSV and 12-month average market price per condition, together with FMV Quality, Liquidity and Risk chips. The material list view exposes the same values at list and part level. Two new market values — Market Purchase Value (MPV) and Market Sales Value (MSV) — are introduced alongside the FMV. Company administrators can calibrate the corridor in Settings → Company → Evaluator.
