Teardown Module

The Teardown Module facilitates teardown processes and asset distribution following the Asset Manager. It streamlines teardown activities by serving as a central information hub for all stakeholders, allowing efficient tracking of project and material statuses. The module focuses on managing deviations from the initial harvest list, creating a structured environment that supports teardown activities.

In the current version, the Teardown Module provides interfaces for the following two user groups:

Project owners can import completed Asset Manager projects into the Teardown Module, with all parts, participants, and bids automatically transferred. The central feature of the Teardown Module is the part list, which provides information on expected and removed parts. Project owners can update this list and initiate a review process, where participants can approve or reject changes or additions to the part list.

Participants are entities - either companies or individuals - who have been assigned materials from the teardown project. They utilize the Teardown Module to monitor teardown activities and manage any deviations from the original harvest list.

Usually, a third stakeholder is involved in teardown projects: teardown operators who actually handle the teardown process. In the current version, there is no dedicated interface for teardown operators available.
