Benchmark
The benchmark functionality compares the performance of your company against the remaining industry. Based on the data you have contributed to the IATA MRO SmartHub and the extensive industry database included in Evaluator three KPI are calculated: potential savings, achieved savings, and total spending. The KPIs are calculated using a neutral industry reference value: the FMV. The calculation methodology and savings definition differ between the three divisions: purchase, sale, and replacement.
To provide you with these statistics on unused potentials for your transactions the IATA MRO SmartHub uses your contributed data. The included time period is specified on the bottom of the page. Only part numbers with FMV in stages 1 to 4 are included.
Purchase
Potential savings are defined as the sum of differences between purchase prices and FMVs if the purchase price was higher than the FMV.
Achieved savings are defined as the sum of differences between FMVs and purchase prices if the purchase price was lower than the FMV.
Total spending is defined as the sum of purchase prices.
Sale
Potential savings are defined as the sum of differences between FMVs and sales prices if the purchase price was lower than the FMV.
Achieved savings are defined as the sum of differences between sales prices and FMVs if the sales price was higher than the FMV.
Total spending is defined as the sum of sales prices.
Replacement
Potential savings are defined as the sum of differences between FMVs and repair prices if the repair price was higher than the FMV.
Achieved savings are defined as the sum of differences between repair prices and FMVs if the repair price was lower than the FMV.
Total spending is defined as the sum of repair prices.
